BID ballot services for councils

An Independent Scrutineer experienced in providing services for new and renewal BID ballots

Print Image Network has a huge amount of experience working with councils to administer the ballot process for Business Improvement Districts.  We provide a professional and efficient BID ballot service for councils looking to run new and renewal BIDs.

More often than not we work with councils to provide a full BID ballot service, which starts with the Notice of Election and ends with the count and reporting of the ballot results.  However, from time to time councils will only require the print and mail of the ballot paper and business plan to hereditaments. Whatever your requirement, we will work with you to ensure your BID ballot runs smoothly, adhering to all stringent timescales that are involved in the BID ballot process.

As the number of Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) increases across the country, councils are looking to recruit ballot service providers with the relevant experience and expert knowledge of BIDs and BID ballots.  We are a member of various BID network groups and so we’re aware of any changes to legislation. We also have a solid understanding of all types of BIDs, including Industrial BIDs and Tourism BIDs.

We have administered BIDs for councils across the UK, including Welsh BID ballots which required dual-language ballot packs.

“Solihull Metropolitan Council worked with UK Engage for the printing and mailing of ballot papers, and receiving and counting the returned votes for the Solihull Renewal BID ballot.  I was very happy with the service we received. The project was well-run and information provided in a timely manner.  The BID Company were also happy that they were able to get daily updates on the returned ballots.”
